ABOUT
TIMOTHY R. FREEL, P.C.
FREEL LAW. Tim’s law practice entails a variety of subject areas. Specializing in real estate, municipal/governmental and general civil litigation, he as well dedicates substantial practice time in business organization and transactions, estate planning, and probate. A father of three amazing daughters, Tim was born and raised in East Tawas, graduating from Tawas Area High School in 1987. From there, and having already become an accomplished classical pianist, he went on to pursue his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Composition from the University of Michigan, and where he graduated in the top 5 percentile of his class of 1991. He then pursued his Juris Doctorate degree at the University of Maryland School of Law in Baltimore, where he graduated with the distinction of Order of the Coif in 1994. Due to the untimely death of his father, Tim determined to return to Michigan and his hometown to practice with his brother. His instinct and passion for the law flowed through three generations of attorneys that preceded him, and the privilege to serve on the East Tawas Planning Commission, its Housing Commission and for over 14 years on its City Council have provided him the means to further the law’s service element beyond the office and court room. |
